Tennessee Votes to Punish Users of False Academic Degrees
The Tennessee House has approved legislation making it a crime to use falsified academic information to either get into or be hired to work at Tennessee universities. In accordance with this new bill, offenders would be punished with up to 11 months, 29 days in prison and fined up to $2,500.
